An Hour at Sepetang

I never got to share my trip to Sepetang with my dad.

We went to Taiping a few weeks ago to pick up my kongkong. We were only there for less than a day.

In fact, it was for only four hours.

By the time we hit our house, it was almost the lunch hour. My grandfather, who loves to go to Sepetang, suggested we hit there for lunch. Twenty minutes from Taiping, we finally reached our destination.

The... baby octopus.
I was a bit hesitant to try the (gulps) baby octopus (to all sea animal lovers, my apologies) because I can't help but stare at those little suckers on the tentacles. Seeing those suckers made me think about the Kraken the Black Pearl encountered in Dead Man's Chest.

So, it's like seeing the miniature monster on a dish platter.

But in the end, I tried it. Since I'm a first-timer. But it's too rubbery so I hope I won't have to encounter eating baby octopus again.
