Childhood Musical

When I was young, I remember my mom always playing songs from Les Miserables. I didn't really know the name of the musical then but I've always listened to the numbers. Unconsciously I picked up the lyrics and found myself singing along with the song.

I remember when I learned the song Castle in the Clouds sang by the character Cosette. And I remembered how funny and catchy the song Master of the House is. I hope this number is played in the upcoming movie Les Miserables because I heard that Helena Bonham Carter is playing the landlord's wife who sings in this number so I'm looking forward to seeing her sing this song :)

For those who have yet to watch the trailer of Les Miserables, here's the teaser. I would be surprised if you didn't tear up hearing Fantine sing out I Dreamed a Dream. Every time I watch this teaser, with the cinematographic scene of France and the slaves, while the words "I had a dream my life would be so different from this hell I'm living" are so painful and heart wrenching to hear.

I hope this musical would be a hit. I don't know if I can watch this on cinema (because it's coming out in December) but if I can't, then it is what it is.
