Here's another milestone in my 21-year-old life.
I'm getting my new glasses!
At first I am a bit anxious about getting new ones because of two thoughts: A. What if my power increases incredibly and I'll get another lecture from my mom about always staying in front of the computer!!
B. ...
Hmm, looks like it's "one thought", then.
Anyway, it's been three years since I last changed my glasses. Yes, it's been that long. The year when I started college. I'm not into shopping for new glasses; Mom didn't seem too pleased when I thought this glasses that caught my eye made me look like a librarian.
What's wrong looking like a librarian? No one's going to pay any attention, isn't that good?
If I have the mood, perhaps I would post a picture with my new black framed glasses. For one thing, it's not the wayfarer glasses that everyone's pinned it as "hipster".
So when I got my eyes checked after 5 minutes of sitting in the dark room reading aloud the letters/numbers on the screen, I've been notified that my power had only slightly increased. The other eye has remained the same (for THREE YEARS? That's pretty good) while the other one increased by 25 only.
Wow, those dotted glasses that I've been wearing all this time really paid off.
Owh. And I have a slightly small case of astigmatism already. Yucks. So from now on, I'll do my best to reduce computer usage.
Wait, the guy didn't say anything about iPad usage, did he? (Grins)
