My First...

I feel like doing a "My First..." list of 2012. So here goes:

1. First breakfast: wan tan mee in Pokok Asam

In Taiping, we went out for breakfast because my sister recommended it when we arrived. Not long after, we departed for home, with me sleeping through two of the three-hour ride back to KL.

2. First movie: Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows (my personal favorite)

My final movies of 2011 were Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol and Sherlock Holmes.

3. First ice-cream: Baskin Robbins' Plain Yogurt.

I hadn't savored a Baskin Robbins ice cream in a while (I still miss Dairy Queen.) so on the way home from Taiping, we stopped at a Tapah rest station and grabbed a cup.

4. First cake (well, 1/5 of the cake): Secret Recipe

A guy named If called for a meeting, but the sambutan wasn't hebat. LOL. So it was R and I who showed up. Being a gentleman that we know and love, he paid for us. That nice feeling when a friend wants to belanja you makan.

5. First coffee purchase: Coffee Bean's Columbian Coffee brew.

Okay. Columbian coffee turns out not to be my favorite, but I finished it anyway. Still prefer cappuccino and hot chocolate.

I wanted to write about the Tom Cruise movie. But oh well, I guess it's back to work now. Signing off!
