It's good to be back. This is probably what everyone who studied and lived overseas for a while and comes back to their home country. And I'm sure that everyone who've been down that path would think, "Man, I miss so-and-so".
Well, so do I.
I miss my friends there terribly. And I miss the friendly strangers that I meet on the way home or to campus.
And blimey, I miss LONDON. The energy, the life, the hype. No wonder people love it. No wonder it's my dad's favourite city.
But I know that there are things here that I'm grateful for. Like the girl who's in my room, doing revision, the girl who has grown up into an independent lady. The one who's been one of my closest friends for the longest time.
To be grateful for a loving family; a mom who sings in front of the iMac; a dad who struggles with his pride; and a sister who takes my clothes without permission because apparently, it's in a binding contract.
To be grateful for the girl who put up with me and one I can talk nonsense with too. Wish I could see her, but like everyone, she's bracing for an exam and I wish her all the best!
Yeah, it's part of the package God has provided me for. Thank you.
