Aching Feet, but the Journey's Great

I tried to sleep, but there were so many thoughts running through my head, I thought it'd be nice to let it out here.

I recently went to London to meet a friend. It was the one day when I feel like I want to be independent for once. I told my friends that I would be in London today to make sure they know where I am.

And it was one of those days when my phone ran out of credit.

Fishcake Lebara. It's a sucky network. I only took it because I thought that while waiting for a SIM card to arrive from a friend, I might as well use it in the mean time.

It turns out that in the mean time, I spent £15 on credit. ON CREDIT! The network sucks credit out like no tomorrow. I ran out of a £5 credit in five freaking days. So please forgive me when I don't reply your messages. It's not that your messages don't matter to me. But if my answer matters a lot, I really hope you would call.

Anyway, I was eventually accompanied by a couple of Malaysians who were on their way London too. One of them has a striking personality similar to a friend of mine in college.

When I reached the station, I had just missed the train to King's Cross. I was cussing because the next train would take about 25 minutes. And that would mean that I would be late, and I couldn't inform N because, like I said, I ran out of credit.

So on the journey to King's Cross, I was under this "OMG, N is going to hate me for making her wait so long and I can't tell her! Shit!" moment. I don't feel comfortable to have someone to wait for me. I would rather wait for someone instead (but of course 15 minutes and more and I would be upset). When the train stopped, I immediately rushed out with a quick goodbye to my friends and strode off to Platform 9 3/4 which is our meet up point.

And so when I laid eyes on her, can you guys what I did?

For those who guessed, "You ran towards her and hugged her", yep, you're right! I hope I hadn't choked her with her earphones on.

The rest are history.

CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN SEE BIG BEN WITH MY OWN EYES.

Nearly fainted at the presence of the restaurant.
At the end of the day, sadly we went on our separate ways. N seemed worried when I told her that I'd be going back alone (she probably had that D: look on her face. LOL) because it was the peak hour. But eventually I found my way to King's Cross and hopped on the right train.

However while I was on the train to King's Cross, the tube was so crammed that my head was practically between these two boobs belong to a plump woman from Norway and I had to apologise for being inappropriate but she was like, "it's okay. It's very hot here, no?"

Yeah, it was so stuffy, I was felt like removing my second layer of clothing.

But, anyhow, it was a good day. An amazing day. :) Dear friend, I wish you had been here!
