Wow, look at me, blogging almost everyday! Yes! I'm back!
I regretfully failed to mention that Q and I had met Pixie Lott in the flesh.
At first, I thought I could boast about it. But then the fact that both of us stood there dumbfounded when Pixie Lott just passed by us like a split-second breeze coming in.
We lingered in Rock Corner to check out albums and (in my case) any movies be it old or new. Outside the store, a long winding queue of girls and guys that were as young as 13 years old, eager to get an autograph from the 21-year-old singer.
Good god, she's 21 and traveling around this part of the world. Me?
Anyway, after five minutes, we were being shooed by a manager saying that Pixie Lott's coming in and customers have to leave already. But too late for Q and I.
Pixie Lott has arrived and has entered the building!
Or let's just say Rock Corner.
Q and I were at the entrance of RC and she just passed by us, standing at 5 feet 8 with heels and her pretty little face in a pretty little dress. We were centimeters from her and after she was out of our vision, we left RC and joined the crowd outside. The people in charge were going "no photographs with Pixie! If you want a picture with her, you can ask our photographer to take it and we'll upload it on Facebook!"
Pfft. You're trying to stop us from taking photos with our smartphones? Seriously? Ha ha.
Obviously, no one listened to the poor guy. Not all took a picture with her, but lots of them took pictures of her. I mean come on. It's a celebrity!! You can't just stop people from snapping photos! How often does one see a celebrity around here? Let alone a British singer?
And outside of Rock Corner, there was an escalator. Some figured out how to make use of it by escalating up to get a good view of the singer to take pictures of her or video-record her signing her albums. There was one group who shouted "WE LOVE YOU, PIXIE LOTT!"
You know, if I could turn back time to the moment where Q and I were inches from her, I would've said how great a singer she is and would've asked about nasi lemak or our famous teh tarik. Now that would've been something, wouldn't it?
But the good time for me was spending a moment with Q eating frozen yogurt at Moo Cow. It was my first time trying the ice cream, so I went for the original flavor with Oreo biscuit powder. I've never tried fro-yo with Oreo so it was really pleasant tasting it.
Okay, I'm craving for a fro-yo now. Mmm, Baskin Robbins tomorrow, then.
After the hoo-hah with Miss Lott, we headed off to lunch with her sisters at a something-like-Old-Town spot outside.
One day, I'll write a post about Kristen Stewart. I'll share with you how I came to like her.
