But sometimes, it hurts instead.

In this concert, it was very respectful of the audience to be silent while listening to Adele singing those words of Someone Like You, even though I'm sure they were itching to sing along with Adele. But it was best to let Adele take the stage and mesmerise the audience. It shows the vulnerable side of Adele, making the song so powerful and emotional with just the repetitive key notes on the piano.

It's like the song's meant only for Adele and her singing gave me the chills. And what's more touching is that she asked the crowd to sing along to the chorus. Now that was the moment that I shed tears not only because she finally let the audience sing along with her. But because they can relate to the words of the song and it heightens the emotion the song is conveying.

And just to let you see the other side of me, I'm one of the hundreds of thousands of people who related to the song.
