It had snowed again last night, and it snowed again in the afternoon. It was the first time I had walked during the snowfall. I'm on a slow recovery from a one-week sickness and frankly, I was not in a mood to go, "Yay, it's snowing! Let's make snowmen!" like some of the students here. I wore the wrong shoes out, carefully trotting on less watery or icy paths to avoid getting slipped.
You have to forgive me for my negative outlook towards snow. It's just that I can't recovery properly because on some days I have to go OUT to run some errands and get some documents printed. It's actually nice to get out of the room, but the fact that the ground was such a treacherous land mine really bothered me because I was wearing my dead sneakers, the one with almost smooth soles.
You may think the snow is lovely, but when it stops, the ground gets all ice wet and like me, if you wear dead Converse, you'd have to tread carefully, not to step on the dirty ice water (the ones that temporarily froze over mud) to avoid falling off the slippery ground. There have been some moments where I slip here and there, but never fall. (Shudders)
[Can't afford to buy winter boots. Cries]
Anyway, I should get back to work now. I hope I get to post more updates soon. Cheers!
