Cheap Dinner

I had a really great evening with some friends yesterday. It was a big bunch, in my opinion, but I was okay with it. After a class with Spoon, A and I went down for dinner. Right now, I have my eyes on the tofu at the Northern Mixed rice section.

My jaw dropped when the lady behind the counter said, "Satu setengah" (RM1.50) for a plate of dinner. Did I hear correctly? I gave the right amount of money: RM1.50! That's probably less than a £1! Fu-yoh! Just a half plate of rice, some tofu and vegetables and voila!
